The Botanical Garden wildflowers were a colorful water painting fused with purples, pinks, yellows, and greens.
The vibrant desert rose reminds me of the equally vibrant traje de flamenca. I love the color and the soft, ruffled tips of this bloom.

A photo of a flower brought home by my husband. This "pretty in pink" lady is the object of a joint project my husband and I have almost finalized....an 18"W x 72"H film strip art piece. We just ordered a 1/2 sample to test hanging methods. Very exciting stuff!
I was on a backpacking trip in the Superstition Wilderness with a group of fantastic folks. We came to one of my favorite places on the trip which is a meadow. These little flowers were spotting the side of the trail. I had to stop and capture the memory.
Camphorweed is this daisy like plant that can speckle the landscape in Arizona's rugged country. The vibrant contrasting colour brings life to the desert floor.
