A cell block at the Yuma Territorial Prison, in Yuma, Arizona. According to YTP's website, "a total of 3,069 prisoners, including 29 women, lived within the walls during the prison's 33 years of operation." It later housed one of the first public libraries in the territory, was the home to a high school for approximately 4 years, and sheltered many homeless during the Great Depression.
The Mesa Mormon Temple holiday lights are spectacular. Thousands of Christmas lights adorn the visitor center's grounds. The colourful exhibition, Christmas music, holiday cheer, and international nativity scenes make this event a must see each year.
The Supermoon was a big, creative deal to us and it was my first attempt at trying to capture a moon shot. So, up A Mountain we went. What I learned? I love the hues of the sky mixed with the city light textures.
