Brooklyn Bridge
Not only does the Brooklyn Bridge carry various traffic from borough to borough, it has also been a wine cellar. It's said a 102-year-old faded inscription was found in one of the cellars in 1978 "Who loveth not wine, women and song, he remaineth a fool his whole life long".
Brooklyn Beauty
The Brooklyn Bridge completed in 1883 is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the US. It connects Manhattan and Brooklyn, spanning 1595.5 feet.

Never Forget
Across the street from where the Twin Towers once stood, Trinity Church served as a resting place for first responders in the 9/11 terrorist attack. When we visited Trinity Church, this particular display really hit home. You can almost see the fireman slumped asleep from sheer exhaustion still wearing his protective gear. Always, always remember our first responders and military personnel who often times pay the ultimate price to keep us safe.

The St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC is truly hypnotic.

"Imagine all the people living life in peace".....hard to not stop and think of this when walking through Central Park's Strawberry Fields. Was it peace, atheism, possibly socialism John was speaking of? He definitely left too soon with words unsaid and work undone.
In the foreground is Trinity Church Cemetery. In the background is Freedom Tower rising from the ashes of one the most devastating events in US history. To me this photo is a representation of how life does go on. Progress has a way of moving us forward.
